InterFit is focussed on... improving the lives of the disabled on the North Shore. Our goal is to provide people with disabilities full, easy, and year-round access to a wide-range of both indoor and outdoor recreational opportunities, thereby reducing isolation and promoting healthy community integration.
Creating a... model where the disabled are included in a community of greater awareness and understanding of the benefits of therapeutic recreation. InterFit is about empowerment, passion and equal access for all! Our dream is that can help build our community into being the most inclusive in Canada.
A better community... is one that seeks opportunities to bring people together through teamwork between disabled and able-bodied participants. InterFit strives to ensure that people with disabilities have the same opportunities to participate and contribute in the building of a vibrant and more healthy community overall!
